Unexploded ordnance (UXO) risk assessment over a 60,000 m² area commissioned by Dren Solare Srl, as part of a renewable energy development project by Decal Renewables.
THE CHALLENGE
Understanding the risk.
The objective was to ensure the safety of excavation and infrastructure works in an area designated for the installation of photovoltaic systems.The survey required confirming the absence of WWII-related unexploded ordnance through a fully non-invasive approach that would deliver reliable results without disturbing the ground surface.
